Nad Al Sheba is better known for hosting the Meydan Racecourse, home of the prestigious Dubai World Cup. Some things are developing in this district as Nakheel announced plans for a residential community called Nad Al Sheba Villa in the vicinity of Mohammed bin Rashid and the new city of Meydan. The project is already leasing residential units after its completion in 2019. On the residential side, this neighbourhood has a mix of villas and apartments in different groups named from 1 to 4.

Nad al-Sheba comprises four sub-districts, each with its own distinctive charm. Nad al-Sheba 1 is also the largest community house in the Meydan community. The sub-district is known for Meydan Hotel, Meydan Racecourse, Nad Al Sheba Cycle Track, and more.
