Inside The Story
Kurat Ul Ain: A Journey of Strength and Success in Dubai Real Estate
- Dec 10,2025
Kurat Ul Ain—also known as Qurat Ul Ain or Qurat Wani—has become a powerful name in Dubai’s real estate industry. With more than 12.3K followers on Instagram and an inspiring personal brand, she is not just active online but a real leader on the ground. As the Founder & Chief Leadership Officer (CLO) of DRE Homes, Ms. Kurat shows how determination, discipline, and hard work can turn a simple beginning into an extraordinary success story.
From a Modest Start to a Real Estate Powerhouse
Her journey began almost 20 years ago when she moved to the UAE as a student, working part-time to support her education. One of her early jobs was selling ice cream in a Sharjah supermarket for AED 20 per hour. But she didn’t stop there. After completing her studies, she moved into hospitality marketing, selling hotel privilege cards—and excelled. Her confidence, communication skills, and natural sales ability helped her earn an impressive income early in her career. These experiences taught her the core principles she values even today: trust, negotiation, and honest customer relationships.
A New Path: Real Estate Comes Calling
Her real estate journey started when her uncle invited her and her brother, Mr/ Mudasir Wani, to join his firm. It was a challenging time—Dubai was expanding, and the 2008 global crisis had shaken markets everywhere. But even when their uncle decided to exit the business, Ms. Kurat and Mr. Mudasir chose to continue and rebuild from scratch.
They began with leasing, a more stable segment during uncertainty. Soon, a major opportunity arrived when a billionaire client approached them for commercial space in Dubai. Ms. Kurat and her brother went above expectations—closing a massive deal involving 14 floors. This became a defining moment and opened doors to bigger business and wider recognition. Soon after, DRE started gaining a strong name across Dubai.
Transforming DRE into a Recognized Brand
In 2007, they officially launched DRE Real Estate. Under her leadership, the company grew steadily, expanding from simple sales into multiple services: off-plan sales, secondary sales, leasing, property management, and holiday homes. A major milestone came recently when DRE opened its incredible 14,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Dubai Hills Estate, now home to 200 team members. This achievement represents growth, confidence, and the promise of a long-term future.
Achievements, Awards & Industry Respect
Her work has earned significant recognition. In 2024, she received the Top Female Entrepreneur in Real Estate award at the Ultimate Realty Awards—a highlight of her career.
The same year, Arabian Business included her in its Real Estate Legends list, honouring leaders shaping Dubai’s development. Another proud moment for DRE was winning the Black Onyx Platinum Award from Dubai Holdings for achieving AED 2 billion in sales with developers like Meraas and Nakheel. For her, this award represents years of commitment and excellence.
Values that Define Her Leadership
What truly makes Ms. Kurat stand out is her approach to leadership. She believes in honesty, transparency, and putting people first. She is especially passionate about mentoring young professionals and empowering women to grow in business.
Her inspiring message, “If I can do it, you can,” reflects her belief that every person has the potential to succeed. Many of her past team members have gone on to open their own real estate agencies—a clear sign of her positive influence and supportive leadership style.
A Vision for Sustainable, Intelligent Growth
Her vision for DRE is focused on long-term relationships, not short-term benefits. She is deeply committed to a customer-first philosophy and is guiding DRE toward technological innovation—including advanced marketing strategies and the use of AI in the business.
She also sees a major change in Dubai’s property market. Instead of only investors, more end-users are buying homes to live in. This shift, she believes, is strengthening the stability and future of Dubai’s real estate sector.
Beyond Business: A Mission for Women & Integrity
Beyond her professional success, Ms. Kurat is known for her strong advocacy for women’s empowerment. She hopes her journey inspires other women to believe in their abilities and step confidently into leadership roles.
She also stands firmly by the idea that success must be ethical—without fairness and integrity, achievements lose their meaning. Her leadership is rooted in transparency, respect, and doing the right thing.
What’s Next: Expansion, Training & a Greener Future
Ms. Kurat has no plans of slowing down. DRE continues to grow within Dubai and is also exploring regional expansion. She is also developing the DRE Academy further, an initiative aimed at training and preparing future real estate professionals in the UAE.
Sustainability is another priority for her, from encouraging plastic-free office setups to promoting environmentally friendly business habits.
Why her Journey Matters
Ms. Kurat’s story stands out because it shows what’s possible with courage and consistent effort. It’s not just a success story; it’s an example of breaking barriers, especially as a woman succeeding in a competitive, male-dominated field.
Her focus on values, people, and long-term growth makes her leadership truly unique.
