Dubai Set To Get World Tallest Residential Clock Tower

  • Dec 13, 2023

Dubai is set to witness its first residential clock tower, which is also set to be the world's tallest residential clock tower, the project developers  announced on Thursday.

London Gate, a premium real estate developer in the UAE, unveiled the ambitious undertaking in collaboration with Franck Muller, the renowned Swiss luxury watch manufacturer.

Renowned as a trailblazer in the horology sector for the last three decades, Franck Muller's venture into real estate is highlighted by this collaboration with London Gate.

The groundbreaking project, situated in Dubai Marina and reaching a height of 450 meters, not only aims to establish itself as the tallest residential tower but also as the tallest residential clock tower globally. This collaboration signifies Franck Muller's foray into the real estate sector, marking a significant milestone for the watchmaking icon.

Eman Taha, CEO of London Gate, expressed excitement about the collaboration and highlighted the company's commitment to crafting exceptional living spaces. After the success of their previous projects—Maya V, Nadine I and II—in the UAE real estate market, the partnership with Franck Muller aims to create a unique living experience that reflects the values of both brands.

The tower, aptly named Aeternitas after Franck Muller's intricate timepiece bearing the same name, is renowned as one of the world's most complex watches, featuring 36 complications and 1,483 components.

Franck Muller's Managing Director, Erol Baliyan, expressed delight at expanding their presence in the Middle East through this collaboration with London Gate. The venture into the branded residential market in the UAE is part of Franck Muller's strategic efforts to bring its legacy of brand excellence into the realm of real estate. Mr. Baliyan sees the launch of Franck Muller's inaugural real estate project in Dubai as the beginning of a new chapter for the brand, setting the stage for future iconic ventures on a global scale.

The luxury residential project is set to be officially unveiled in January 2024, with residents anticipating the handover by 2026. This endeavor not only promises to reshape Dubai's skyline but also to redefine luxury living through the fusion of real estate and horology.
