Dubai Unveils Plans for Exclusive Luxury Island Near Burj Al Arab

  • Aug 08,2025

Dubai is raising the bar for luxury once again with the announcement of a stunning new island development just off the city’s iconic Jumeirah coastline.

Introducing Naia Island Dubai, a premium lifestyle destination set to become home to high-end beachfront residences, lavish private villas, and the ultra-luxurious Cheval Blanc Maison Hotel. The project, now under construction, is scheduled for completion in 2029 and promises to redefine seaside living in the UAE.

Strategically located near the world-famous Burj Al Arab, Naia Island will offer direct access to Dubai’s major roads while maintaining a serene escape from the city's hustle. The Cheval Blanc hotel on the island will include 30 upscale suites and 40 exclusive villas, each designed with private pools and panoramic views of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks.

This ambitious development is being led by Shamal Holding, in partnership with Cheval Blanc, the prestigious luxury hospitality brand. According to Abdulla Binhabtoor, CEO of Shamal Holding, the project represents “a defining chapter” in their mission to craft exceptional lifestyle experiences that align with Dubai’s global vision for excellence in living.

"Naia Island isn’t just another luxury address—it’s a testament to Dubai’s ambition to lead the world in innovative and meaningful urban living," Binhabtoor said.

The island is expected to contribute significantly to the Dubai 2030 vision, which seeks to place the city among the top three tourist destinations worldwide.

In parallel, Dubai continues its sustainability journey with the redevelopment of the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, announced earlier this year. With a budget of Dh650 million, the sanctuary's facelift is being rolled out in two phases—the first set for completion by the end of 2026 at Dh100 million. The initiative is focused on enhancing biodiversity and promoting ecotourism, proving that Dubai is not just about glamour but also green progress.

From ultra-premium waterfront real estate to eco-conscious urban planning, Dubai continues to position itself as a trailblazer in both luxury and sustainability.
