Emaar Launches a New Walkway at Dubai Creek Harbour

Emaar has unveiled the launch of its new walkway, The Viewing Point, a 70-meter structure that spans Dubai Creek, offering visitors spectacular views of Dubai and the inner city. Viewing Point is part of the Grand Dubai Creek Harbour development and is free to access.

According to Emaar, the structure is an integral part of the Dubai Creek Harbour master plan and has been designed to seamlessly blend in with the surroundings. In a 26m-long cantilever, the structure stands 11.65m above the water level, providing unobstructed views of the creek below.

“Its location at the end of one of the city’s most populated pedestrian walkways ensures significant footfall to one of the city’s most creative structures, resulting in opportunities for spectacular photography and video clips. It is perfect for anyone looking for that idyllic Instagram post, whether they are in-demand influencers or simply love taking pictures of their phones,” said a company spokesman.

Emaar announced in mid-August 2022 that it would buy Dubai Holding’s stake in Dubai Creek Harbour for $2.04 billion, and Emaar investors approved the deal in mid-September 2022.

The design has already caught the attention of residents and visitors alike, making it the perfect spot to gather with friends and family, take in the beautiful surroundings and bask in the spectacular sunsets. This one-of-a-kind architectural piece has been designed and built using painted steel to achieve its unique appearance, he concluded.

Emaar Development announced in mid-November 2022 that its first three quarters of 2022 were its busiest ever in terms of sales. The company made $6.31 billion in property sales.
