The UAE is now the most vaccinated nation on the globe.
As per the data recorded by July 4, 2021, the nation has recorded over 15.53 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccines. As per the information provided by National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), 64% of the total residents of the UAE are completely vaccinated against COVID-19, whereas 74% of the population is done by at least one dose.
As per the data provided by Bloomberg’s vaccine tracker, the UAE is the most vaccinated nation, overtaking Seychelles. Seychelles’ records say that 71.7% of the population is being vaccinated.
In addition to this, on 23 of May 2021, the UAE overtook Israel, considering the rates of the vaccination administration.
As per the data by Khaleej Times, “With 157.06 doses administered per 100 residents as of July 4, the UAE still leads the world in this category. The next best are Bahrain and Israel, with distribution rates of 125.75 and 124.8 doses per 100 residents, respectively.”
In addition to this, The UAE is offering COVID-19 vaccines to its people and emigrates for no cost. It looks forward to vaccinating 100% of the concerned population by the end of the year 2021.
Last week, the Ministry of Health and Prevention had underlined that 84% of the COVID-19 cases were recorded among unvaccinated people.
