Wynn Al Marjan Island Tower Tops Out, Paving Way for 2027 Opening

  • Dec 26,2025

Wynn Al Marjan Island has reached a major construction milestone, with its 70-floor tower topping out at 283 meters of structural concrete height on Monday. Less than 28 months after breaking ground, the project is set for its spire installation next year, which will extend the tower to 352 meters — more than 100 meters taller than any other building in Ras Al Khaimah.

This milestone marks the start of full interior fit-outs across all 1,530 guest rooms and suites, with 1,504 already underway. The tower’s façade panels cover 79% of the structure, low-rise buildings have reached 99% structural completion, and over 438,968 cubic meters of concrete have been poured.

Resort grounds progressing at pace

Spanning over 60 hectares, the integrated resort is scheduled to open in spring 2027, featuring 1,217 rooms, 297 Enclave suites, two Royal Apartments, four Garden Townhomes, and 10 Marina Estates. Guests will enjoy 22 restaurants and bars, a beach club, a luxury spa, a high-end shopping parterre, Coral Court events venue, The Showroom theatre, 12 pools, and a 420-meter white-sand beach with a deep-water marina for superyachts.

The topping-out ceremony brought together senior executives from Wynn Resorts, Wynn Design & Development, and Marjan, who poured the final concrete batch and received commemorative steel bars in celebration.

“Standing at 352 meters as the tallest building in the Northern Emirates, Wynn Al Marjan Island is transforming the Ras Al Khaimah skyline and sets a new standard for luxury hospitality,” said Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island. “Reaching this milestone in just over two years reflects the dedication and skill of the teams bringing this vision to life.”

Abdulla Al Abdouli, Group CEO of Marjan, added, “Wynn Al Marjan Island is the cornerstone of a new global destination in Ras Al Khaimah. Achieving this construction milestone brings us closer to welcoming guests to a resort that will redefine hospitality in the Emirate and establish Al Marjan Island as a must-visit location.”

To date, the construction has generated over 18,000 jobs, with all hotel room interiors in fit-out, 90% of low-rise partitions completed, and MEP systems progressing rapidly.

Broader island development underway

Meanwhile, work is advancing on Janu Al Marjan Island, a second joint venture announced last month, targeting a late 2028 opening under Aman Group’s sister brand. Together, these projects cover 60 acres and position Al Marjan Island as a long-term hospitality hub in the Northern Emirates.
