Bvlgari Ocean Mansions at Jumeirah Bay
Overview:
The BVLGARI Ocean Mansions are an exclusive group of eight ultra-exclusive luxury homes designed by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel that sit above the waves of Jumeirah Bay Island in the Arabian Gulf. Beautiful gardens surround the entrance of the five-bedroom mansions, which also feature BVLGARI’s architectural legacy and flair.
Masterfully designed by the Italian architectural duo Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, BVLGARI Resort and Residences Dubai was built to reflect the unique aesthetic of its two partners – BVLGARI and Meraas.
Elegant architectural characteristics highlight the project’s link with the surrounding seascape, while the structure looks poised between water and sky, emphasising the sudden transition from land to sea.
The BVLGARI Ocean Mansions strike the ideal mix between openness and privacy. The enormous yet inconspicuous entrance leads to full-height windows with sea views, enabling sunlight to fill the house. High-quality materials and attention to detail maximise natural light utilisation, making the space more comfortable and appealing.
The function, living, and dining rooms all have access to water, resulting in an interior space that mixes seamlessly with the wooden balcony that wraps around the bottom floor, emphasising the connection between the indoor and outdoor areas. The infinity pool here, with Italian mosaics, creates a sense of continuity with the sea. A spectacular display kitchen opposite the glass-enclosed living area has a wet kitchen and is easily accessible. The well-crafted metal stair leading to the first level is the house’s most striking feature.
The first-floor common space has sumptuous wool and connects four bedrooms and the main suite. The en-suite bathrooms include wood flooring and stone features. The wrap-around balcony and large windows ensure that all rooms receive lots of natural light and have easy access to the outside spaces. The en-suite provides direct access to the private terrace in addition to a large glass window with magnificent views of the city and Gulf.
